		<description>Dear Anne,
I am enjoying your book - Aphrodite. I admire your writing, and I also relate to the locations and landmarks you write about, since I am a local. Is it a plot (are we keeping the secret for ourselves?) but books about the Central Coast rarely make it to the big time. Other than Paul Giamatta&#039;s &quot;Sideways&quot; - which I&#039;ve seen, and I didn&#039;t like. &quot;Bottle Shock&quot; was a much better movie about California.
You and I write about the same theme: keeping love in a long term relationship. I have contacted two editors since the Book Fair and I am working on rewrites. My question is, you made the comment that you did a 14th rewrite - was that a joke? How many times do you go over a piece of work before you submit it?
Happy Thanksgiving!
