Membership in SLO NightWriters affords you many benefits, some of which are listed on our About Us page. Dues are $50.00 per year, and must be renewed annually. Our Student Rate applies in cases of other types of economic limitation is $25.00 per year.
We also offer a Sustaining Membership and for a limited time, a Lifetime Membership.
New Sustaining Memberships: SLO NightWriters now offers sustaining memberships to local businesses and freelancers, including as a separate membership to our regular members who offer writing-related products and services, for $150 per year. If you choose to be both a voting and a sustaining member (with all the advertising benefits) the cost will be $190.
Sustaining Members are not voting members and do not receive member benefits, but they will receive the following marketing benefits:
A listing in each issue of the newsletter.
A logo on a new Sustaining Member page on the SLO NightWriters website, linked to their website.
An opportunity to address members at a general meeting, for up to 10minutes, once per year.

New Lifetime Memberships: SLO NightWriters members will be able to support the organization and save money overtime by purchasing a lifetime membership for $500. To switch to a lifetime membership, log into the SLO NightWriters website, click “view profile” under your name, then click “Change” next to “Membership Level,” beneath the image of your membership card.
You do not have to be a member to enjoy limited access to our website.
Members will receive, via the email address they assign at time of application, contest announcements, news of our members' publication successes, and reminder notices when dues are up for annual renewal.
Members have complete control over what in their profile is visible to other members. We do not share members' profile information with other organizations!
On the application form you will be asked to enter a password, which you create. You will use it for logging in, to edit your profile, and to adjust what specific types of information you choose to allow others to see (e.g. Name, Address, Email Address, Website address, etc.).
When you get to the payment portion, please fill out ALL the fields including Country and State.
